Job Posting: Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) with Hands-On Welding Experience
Location: Lake Elsinore, CA
Employment Type: Full-Time with Flexible Schedule
About the Role:
We are seeking a Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) with hands-on welding experience and a WPQ1 Welder Performance Qualifier Endorsement (or willingness to obtain upon hire). This role involves managing welder qualification testing, performing inspections, troubleshooting equipment, and assisting with consulting work in both field and laboratory settings.
Minimum Qualifications & Requirements:
- Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) credential
- Hands-on welding experience (practical welding background preferred)
- WPQ1 Endorsement (or ability to obtain upon hire)
- Experience in welder qualification testing
- Ability to perform welding inspections in lab and field environments
- Proficiency in SMAW, GMAW, FCAW, and GTAW welding processes
- Strong troubleshooting skills for welding equipment
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects efficiently
- Proficiency with Mac computers, Pages documents, and general computer tasks
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Compensation & Benefits:
- Hourly Pay: $30 – $40/hr (Depending on background and experience)
