Bundle 2: Ironworker Welder
This 24-week course is for those who want to work primarily in steel building construction or fabrication.
Overview
This bundle prepares students for careers as Structural/Ironworker Welders, equipping them to build and weld the structural framework of buildings, bridges, skyscrapers, and large infrastructure. Graduates will be able to assemble cranes and derricks, install catwalks, elevators, fire escapes, railings, fences, and rebar, while working safely at high elevations and following industry standards.

- W101 – SMAW AWS D1.1 / L.A. City Welder Certification Structural Steel Plate
- W102 – FCAW AWS D1.1 / L.A. City Welder Certification Structural Steel Plate
- W105 – FCAW AWS D1.8 / Welder Certification Structural Steel Seismic Application
- PDH-LAWC – L.A. City Welder Certification Written Exam Preparation Class
The objective of this career builder bundle is to give students the skills necessary for employment in structural welding, including welding in moment connections (seismic applications) and fabrication.
