Overview

This bundle prepares students for careers as Light-Gauge Welders, specializing in welding and installing lighter structural components such as metal decking, stair framing, guardrails, handrails, fencing, and architectural sheet metal. Graduates will learn field welding and fabrication techniques for galvanized steel, aluminum, and other light-gauge materials used in commercial and industrial construction. They will also gain skills to work on platforms, equipment supports, catwalks, and safety rails with precision and attention to safety standards.
