Overview
This session is designed for experienced welders who want to sharpen their skills before taking a certification test. You’ll work with mock test setups that reflect real certification conditions—no instruction, no walkthroughs, just hands-on practice with guidance on code requirements and testing standards. It’s ideal for welders who want to build confidence, reinforce key practices, and eliminate surprises on test day. This session is not for beginners; it’s for professionals who are serious about passing.
This practice session is designed for skilled welders who want to prepare for certification testing by welding mock test assemblies under realistic conditions. It is not a class or private lesson, and it does not provide instruction on how to weld.
Purpose:
- Allow skilled welders to practice with mock tests similar or identical to the actual certification test.
- Review code requirements, acceptance/rejection criteria, and recommended practices.
Skill Level:
- Intended for advanced welders only.
- Not suitable for beginners or intermediate-level welders.
- This is not a welding instruction session.

- Practice Session Fee: $475
- Additional Material Fee (if applicable): $150 for Structural and Pipe Stainless Steel, AWS D1.8 plates, and Carbon Steel Pipe
Reschedule and Cancellation Policy:
- Rescheduling requires at least 5 business days’ notice to avoid additional fees.
- Rescheduling with less than 5 days’ notice: $250 fee applies.
- No refunds for cancellations or no-shows.
- Practice sessions available Tuesdays and Thursdays.
- Off-schedule days available by appointment only.
- Scheduled once payment is received.
- Lab hours: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM
- Practice includes approximately 6 hours of welding time.
