This endorsement equips welding and inspection professionals with the knowledge needed to coordinate Nondestructive Examination (NDE) programs in compliance with industry standards. Participants gain a solid understanding of qualification and certification requirements, NDE methods, and data interpretation to effectively oversee inspection processes and ensure reliable results.

The endorsement holder should be able to:
- Understand qualification and certification programs for NDE practitioners and how agencies are assessed.
- Demonstrate knowledge of major NDE methods, including their essential elements, advantages, and limitations.
- Apply knowledge of inspection test plans, sampling protocols, and probabilities of detection.
- Interpret and evaluate data from NDE reports to support decision-making.
- Successful candidates can earn the Nondestructive Examination Coordination Endorsement from AWS by passing the required examination. This endorsement supports the Senior CWI (SCWI) pathway
- Training aligns with recognized standards such as ASNT, ASTM, API, AWS, and ISO publications.
