This endorsement validates your specialized knowledge in welding quality assurance and coordination and positions you as a valuable asset to organizations seeking to optimize their welding quality processes. Training Participants will gain the knowledge to build, evaluate, and improve welding quality assurance programs while learning how to advise manufacturers on best practices for producing welded products.

By the end of this course, endorsement holders will:
- Understand the definition of welding coordination and the role of welding coordinators within an organization.
- Establish the basic elements of a welding quality assurance program.
- Understand auditing principles from both the auditor and auditee perspectives.
- Recognize the features of major welding quality assurance programs, including ASME, AISC, ISO, and AWS.
- Advise manufacturers on fundamental aspects of welded product manufacturing, including estimation, design, qualification, throughput, and process improvement.
- Successful participants can earn the Welding Coordination and Quality Assurance Endorsement from AWS by passing the required examination.
